Did you know that your integration may stop working? As of 30 April 2024!
Autodesk is changing the security rules. Better said, it is increasing security for all integrations for Autodesk PLM & Forge.
As of April 30, 2024, email and password login will no longer be supported. This is an upgrade of Authentication security, that follows global web integration standards on cloud solutions. This change will have no changes for end users´ login process.
Official announcement from Autodesk developer team find here.
We are ready and compliant with the new standards!
Our clients can already use the new V2 authentication version in the Fuxsy PLM Connector and all of our other products and features for all their integrations. No important features will be lost with this change.
To migrate to a more secure login version, just use the new feature in our connector as seen below.
Next step in your integrations is to add “ClientID” and “ClientSecret” as credentials which you can get from the Autodesk Forge integration platform. Of course, there still must remain “PLM User” as the email adress, that is used in PLM system for integration/login.
Done! Now you can continue worry-free after 30 April 2024, and more importantly, with more security.
